At Blackrock House, I acted as both the owner's representative and interior designer—fully immersing myself in the project, living and breathing every detail to bring their dream home to life.

The initial months were an immersion, where I dedicated myself to understanding the client's aspirations, shaping a vision that was deeply personal and uniquely theirs. Art and lifestyle were the two pillars the design brief centred on, and this led to a stunning home where every room exudes beauty, functionality, and purpose.

An intimate focus on interior design started the collaborative journey. From the overall ambiance to the material palette, a clear vision was set. We then assembled an architect, builder, and various consultants and contractors to form our team—a team, where every collaborator was carefully chosen to ensure excellence.

I was onsite every day, closely managing the project alongside the builder. I spent nearly the entire day there, ensuring every detail met our meticulous standards. With this, came the responsibility of sourcing every material, piece of furniture, artwork, and styling item from around the world. Naturally, careful attention was given to managing budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring a seamless process for my client. By the time my client returned from overseas, their home was complete. Not simply set up—rather beautifully arranged and ready to be lived in.

The entire project adhered to the budget, and was completed within 12 months, showcasing our commitment to perfection and the realisation of the client's dream home.

Creating My Dream Home with Lily
